The Kerdroya project is perfect for the topsy turvy world we find ourselves in and with the collective effort to protect the planet. Not only will it create a new outdoor space, but it will be done with locally available, natural recycled and reused materials. Transforming a disused carpark will create new habitat for local flora and fauna resulting in significant biodiversity gain. 

Would you help us gather stone for our labyrinth? We are looking for volunteers to help us gather stone from the shoreline of Colliford reservoir for Kerdroya: The Cornish Landscape Labyrinth.

Golden Tree has received a statement from South West Lakes Trust and we would like to re-assure all those who have made a Hedge Pledge to date, that your pledge is safe and that your marker disk with its personal message remains on course to appear in the labyrinth.

Along with the rest of Kernow, the UK and the World, Golden Tree has been monitoring the news about Coronavirus closely. We have been considering what actions we need to take as an organisation to protect our employees, freelancers and participants. We also take very seriously our collective responsibility to the many vulnerable people across society and to our frontline NHS workers.

Get your stretch of Kerdroya: the Cornish Landscape Labyrinth. You can choose to ‘own’ a given stretch of the labyrinth’s hedge – each one yard(ish) stretch corresponds roughly to an actual location in Cornwall.

There’s a brand-new bilingual calendar adorning the walls of many offices and schools up and down Cornwall. The 2020 cultural calendar celebrates the partnership between Golden Tree and First Kernow buses.

Another piece of the Kerdroya funding jigsaw has been put in place with the recent announcement of Golden Tree’s successful bid to Arts Council England.

Every year the Cornwall Heritage Trust presents the Sir Richard Trant Memorial Award to an ‘unsung hero or heroine’ – who has made a significant contribution to Cornwall’s heritage.
