Jo Tyler

Jo Tyler is an artist and creative teacher and has lived in the beautiful Tamar Valley for over 20 years. She is a award winning fine art printmaker and designer/maker.

Jo won the Design Museum Competition (Design Factory) in May 2014 and exhibited with “Inspired By….” an exhibition with the Victoria and Albert Museum in collaboration with Morley Gallery, London in June 2014.

In December 2014-January 2015 Jo was invited to work with House of Fairytales in London.

She has performed at Arnolfini Bristol, Cardiff Arts Lab, Battersea Arts Centre, Hull Truck and The Place with Rational Theatre Company.

She is a visual artist with Rambunctious Social Club (rambunctioussocialclub.com)

She is presently working on Rags to Riches in Cornwall, as part of the Golden Tree team of artists.

Jo also has her own practice creating installation with hot and warm glass, textile and mixed media, alongside the
occasional hard -to – interpret glass crumpled object.

Jo works as an artist in residence in schools across the South West. She runs “Art School” – a creative seven week twilight programme for teachers and teaching assistants. Art School is suitable for absolute beginners where school staff can kick back, have fun and enjoy discovering their many creative skills in a nurturing environment.
