I Started my Cornish life as a children’s entertainer (AKA Betty Stoggs), before a career in the youth service worker for 18years. As co-ordinator of the Nancherrow Centre in my home town of St Just, I was one of the instigators of Lafrowda Festival. Myself and my husband, artist Graham Jobbins, were part of the production team that instigated the reinvigoration of the Ordinalia Cycle of medieval miracle plays, 2000 – 2004, we did four large scale community productions in the marvellous St Just Plen-an-Gwari . I now manage The Knut, the new facility next to the Plen, this small creative community space will also house an historical archive and offers backstage facilities for theatre and events using the Plen. I am also a performer, active choir member, and workshop leader.
